We are currently designing a new logo for our project even though the project is finished we think it needs a beautiful logo! Exciting..
New!
September 2011
Two Danish and two Icelandic students went to Finland with Eva and Signe to present their knowledge and learning perspectives from being in "The Climate Change Project"
Here You can see our presentations from the workshop:
The student's presentation:
The teacher's presentation:
Look at the photos from the workshop in Finland here:
Have a look at the statistics I have done on "Empowering students".
It is made on material gathered in a survey made amongst the students in this project.
I did it to find out: "how can you in general get motivated and engaged students in your classroom?"
The students in the "Climate-Change-project" were good interviewees as they come from tree different countries, are at the same age and had a high level of activity in the project.
I think this survey gave me some of the answers, have a look and see what you think!
Here you can see all the presentations made by the Estonian, Danish and Icelandish students and presented in Iceland and Denmark (September 2010 and November 2010):
Here you can listen to our evaluation of the Climate Change Project. The students have made a speaking avatar (a voki). Listen to the evaluations here:
Here some of the danish students are telling about CO2 emition in transport of apples by handing out free danish apples and trying to convince the inhabitants to buy local food.
These are photos from the different happenings we have made.
The Danish climate class have just (20-01-2010)won a national competition where you had to describe the way you teach Climate at your school. We won 18.000 danish kroner for Climate activities!! REally great!!

Are the presentations made in Power Point? If yes then I wouls suggest that you upload them to www.slideshare.com and then embed them in this wiki. If you share the presentations on slideshare with me I can help you or you can get your ict guide to help;-)

Hi Eva
We can download it and see it! You have to think about copyright if you put it on the internet! I think it is a fine video with lots of nice pictures. But you have to remove the music and maby let the children speak to the photos? One way of getting the video embeded in the wiki is to upload it to www.youtube.com or another place for uploading videos (teacherstube??). After you have uploaded it you will get a code for embeding the video into the wiki. Once you have done that and you have the code ask again if you find it diffricult to embed.
But you have to remove the music it can give you a huge fee if someone finds out. I have removed the video with music from this page because it is not legal!

Hi Signe and Ingrid, now I have put a different class in the project, children born ´96. They have started their presentation and I put 2 in now, the rest will finish next wednesday. Tomorrow we have the day off because it is the first day of summer, We always get the day off, first summersday. Looking out my window now there is nothing like summer, storm and rain, but today is the last day of winter so hopefully tomorrow the sun will come.
Best wishes
Eva
